A day in my life as Nepali student

Today was day 3 of the four exam days. As I wrote earlier, studying 7 to 8 hours for an exam is sufficient if you have attended the classes.

I knew that today's exam would be pretty easy. Not much content, low difficulty, all assignments already done. So I lazed in the morning and slowly started the study. After our prayer first tea. While checking messages on my phone. Then starting up the laptop and checking whether I miss anything in the list of Powerpoint presentations from the teacher.

Meanwhile, I'm chatting with my classmates in the group chat. Oops, what are they talking about now? Cognitive interest? Do I have any material on that? I ask in the group what it is and if someone has slides of it. In the meantime I have already found them on my own computer. "Leave it, found," I type in behind it.

After breakfast and when David leaves for the prayer meeting, I plan to go through all the slides as quickly as possible so that I can go to the bank at 14:00 to pay my tuition fees. I have been almost two months late because I asked if I could pay the Nepalese price (saves half!) now that I am married to a Nepali. But apparently that is only possible if you accept the Nepalese nationality.

So said, done that way. Studying is going well. After an hour I take some refreshments. I drink hot water non-stop as always during studying. Another hour later it is time for my daily sun moment with the Bible. The only way to get sun and warm up in these days is to sit outside and read Bible. After 2:00 pm the sun is hiding behind the house in front of us, so I usually sit outside around 1:00 PM.

As I expected at that moment, I can go through the rest of the slides in half an hour. So somewhat after 14:00 I shut down the laptop and get ready to go. After paying my tuition fees and impressing the bank ladies with my Nepali, I treat myself to a lunch. While eating a delicious wrap with vegetables and chicken, I study on the most important slides I took pictures of with my phone. (Handy, such a computer that you always carry with you.)

You have to take good care of yourself in an examination week.

When the coffee and brownie are finished, I go to college, about 15 minutes drive. Before the exam starts, I fill my dopper bottle with hot water from the water dispenser. I am ready for this!

Now we have just eaten (David was also just at home when I came home by 8 pm, so it was late with cooking and eating.) And I left the mess in the kitchen to write my blog first. I know I sleep better when I wash up at last than when I write my blog just before I go to bed. The night light is on in the computer (filters blue light), but I still do not sleep the first hour when I'm sitting at the last moment behind the laptop (or phone).

Now time to clean the kitchen and then sleep well. Tomorrow no time for lazing because for the exam of tomorrow we have to study a lot of topics. I have already studied the first PowerPoint presentation before dinner. Many thanks to David who always puts food on the table in these exam days!
